A quieter way to stay in Galloway
Set on a family farm near Kirkcudbright, Wild Galloway is home to just two architect-designed cabins, surrounded by open pasture, woodland and the rolling landscape of south-west Scotland.
Bramble and Bracken have been deliberately set apart. Almost 100 metres separates the two, with trees and little Galloway knowes between them, creating the sort of privacy that can be difficult to find even in the countryside.
Life here is quiet, but you’re not cut off. The coast is three minutes away, while Kirkcudbright and its galleries, independent shops and cafés are an eight-minute drive.
Come for long walks, wild coastline, dark skies and slow evenings outside — or simply to do very little at all.
Two architect-designed cabins, set apart
Bramble and Bracken are compact, thoughtfully designed spaces made for two. Timber-clad interiors, king-size beds, full kitchens and wood-burning stoves make them comfortable year-round, while large windows and south-facing decks open everything up to the surrounding countryside.
And when the weather turns, drop the screen, light the stove and switch to Cinema Mode.
Outdoor baths, firelight and dark skies
Much of Wild Galloway is designed around being outside.
Each cabin has its own copper bath and rainfall shower, Kamado barbecue, fire pit and outdoor seating — all completely private. Soak under the stars, cook over fire, or sit outside with a drink as the light disappears across the farm.
And with only two cabins, space isn’t something you have to share.
